To be fair, Stanton played 158 games last year and he was dealing with hamstring problems last season. He still hit 38 HRs and had 100 RBIs.

This year, he is just having an unlucky year. Also, ultimately, it's up to Boone & the medical staff to make the final decision on Stanton playing. Even if Stanton wants to play, if Boone and the medical staff say no, then he can't play.

Anyways, EE & Gary HAVE to step up. If one of those guys stepped up in Game 2, the Yankees would have a 2-0 lead.

Same reason we moved Gleyber back. It lengthens the lineup and it will hopefully give the guy in front of him better pitches.

1-7 are all .875 or better OPS. They can all hit.

My concern with this line up is Correa getting stranded frequently.

I Agree. Gary been absolutely trash for awhile ay the plate the only good sign is he had a decent at bat as opposed to his completely trash ones .EE I feel more confident can come around .

Facts. They’re a combined 1-17 with 2 walks, no extra base hits, no RBI’s, and 9 strikeouts. It’s hard to be any worse than the two of them have been. Gardner too. He’s got I think 5 strikeouts through 2 games.

Don't Believe the Hype
How does a professional "athlete" injure himself running 90 feet? This happens way too f*cking often. Baseball's my faorite sport, but this is embarrassing.
