I don't know if you been following the situation but for the past 1.5year or so the police dept. basically said fukk it and created free for all zones in response to the "blm thugs" and the damning investigation results about the department.
I remember reading a story about gangbangers saying the cops don't even hop out on em anymore, unless they're literally there all day. And a cop was actually quoted saying they're taking a hands off approach and not hopping out on suspicious behavior til they pass by 3,4,5 times instead of stopping it on some deterrent shyt.


Aii take this scenario: In a given city (like Chicago), what % of homicides would you guess are solved with minimum effort, esp. given today's social media age and advanced forensic technology....of all homicides period...50, 60, 70%? I'd say thats a reasonable guess given that at least 50% of criminals are dumb or make dumb mistakes, plus those caught at the scene, turned themselves in etc.

People talk about summer jobs programs. Summer is 3 months. 3 months out of an entire lifetime.

I worked with a trade center in 2005, they tough cats that had been through shyt some skills, how to install carpet, some plumbing and electrical.

What was cool was a large real estate company was like "We intend to hire a lot of the candidates that complete the programs."

Hell it's nothing to work for an apartment complex and go change out an electrical socket , pump a garbage disposal, plunge a toilet, replace furnace filters, touch up paint.. etc

Sounds all great until that part on the application that says "have you ever been convicted of a felony?" Then to top it off, they review any record you have going back 10 years if not longer due to the charge.

What the fukk was the purpose of the program? Money and time wasted.
