Normal people want their taxes cut and they want jobs that will pay them more.

They aren't focused on critical race theory, drag queens, and police officers getting more money. Normal people voted for Trump in 2016 because he was a political outsider. He said he'd drain the swamp and fix corruption. He literally just made it worse and now they don't see him as a political outsider.

Normal people want solutions. Saying "hey look at that a latino!/drag queen/black person" doesn't work. People largely do not care about that shyt and just want stable employment, the ability to buy a home, and to not go bankrupt because of medical debt. They had 4 years of Trump and housing didn't get cheaper, wages didn't rise, nothing changed for the better and in some ways shyt got WORSE. He had his chance and he blew it. He's now scrambling trying to make the case for how things will be different this time but as you can see in the clip, nobody believes him.

Dyed in the wool racist Republicans will vote for him of course because he promises to hurt people they don't like, but most Americans aren't that. If they were, Biden wouldn't be president and Clinton wouldn't have won 3m more popular votes in 2016.
