Wrong , it's because younger people tend to be liberal but older people become more conservative and want less things to change and they come out to vote ....plus while the disparity between rich and poor increases the pool of rich or rich born people increases

For all you socialist supporters, how exactly will socialism help blacks? In any program there has to be someone to administer the “benefits”. That someone/entity will still be humans who have biases.
It’s capitalism that enables money to flow in to promote AOCs platform in the first place. Yes it’s great for her because it gives her a stage to be a person with power. It will not be the same for individuals.

Currently @DEAD7 and I are having a back-and-forth about capitalism vs social democracy. To be clear, I'm advocating social democracy. Social democracy is different than democratic socialism.
And yes, I agree that socialism has the one flaw that capitalism has. There's going to be a group flushed with money, which will lead to corruption and ultimately dysfunction. Democratic socialism would need thorough checks and balances, far more than what we have, to be successful. Unfortunately, no country has gotten close to implementing it yet. So as much as people want to scream "it doesn't work, it can't work", there's never been an actual opportunity to see or let it work.
NOTE: Though, social democracy is a blend between capitalism and socialism, it's normally put in the socialism category.
how is capitalism helping blacks? or anyone for that matter. capitalism doesnt "allow" her to do anything, its a necessity since we live in this system to participate in it. how would you like her to get to congress that would be ok for her to still promote socialism ? does she have to live in a tent? right wing talking point
So basically the fear of socialism is corruption not the actual system itself? what do you think we have no corruption now? every complaint people have about so called socialism can be said about our current system, another one i hear "socialism leaves most people poor and power concentrated at the top" annnnd thats not what we have now ?
