I haven’t heard one song from dude. But that pull up and suppose checking was for his name “dababy” while atl rapper “lil baby” just popping and he’s shooting A video in ATLY’all bought that? To keep it a buck that was the second thing that made me skeptical of dude. I think that whole shyt was staged by somebody who thought it would look good, but doesn’t actually know the dynamics of the streets. Atlanta ain’t no check in city, this ain’t no Memphis or LA. Atlanta dudes don’t do shyt like that. Don’t take my word for it, put it together on your own. ATL transient as fukk, everybody know that. And the streets been seeing OT folks pull up since Frank Matthews came down from NY and put the battery in the Bluffs back way back in the late 60’s. All these out of towners in the city, and y’all think somebody gonna out the blue pull the territorial shyt out the bag cuz this unknown nikka pull up?

I’ve been thru Law Town, It’s a smaller not as violent and not as run down east coast Dominican version of Gary. That ain’t no where you want to get in local beef at. This dude an actor, and he moving like new money, he moving like a nikka who ain’t never left his hood, and he trying waaaaaay too hard to craft his image. Like I said in another thread, I don’t think he’s soft, in fact he comes off like he used to play the ski mask games. But them same tools, being smart, being manipulative, are what is enabling dude to be good at marketing himself. Which of that he does very well. I'm probably not killing someone in front of my kids, but that's my mindset now. Earlier point of my life, I've shot and shot at dudes for less than running down on me with the hammer out...
DaBaby wasn't licensed to carry, they expunged his record now but he was a convicted felon. One of the other big misconceptions about dude is that he was licensed to carry, dude had a (minor) record...
He wasn't the shooter, family....

I've already said up thread g........if you aren't in tune to Charlotte street culture, you can buy whatever you want. Best thing I can say is if you follow local press you'll watch how it changed from "DaBaby killed man" to "DaBaby's involvement in man's death", relatively shortly thereafter. That is blatant because few details were given to the public but it was learned in short time that he wasn't the shooter...
Other than that, believe what you choose, family! He has a reputation in Charlotte but it isn't what you think it is...

I did notice that. I googled the incident and the immediate articles said he shot the guy...and the more recent ones say he was involved in the man's death. I hear you.
I'm not taking away from your thought process, I salute that honestly. I'll be damned if I let my kids see me killed, shot or robbed either though. Then again I'm licensed to carry
