I just moved to Raleigh a month ago from Virginia Beach (wish I stayed, but my woman is from here lol). I'm not in the field anymore but through the years I've scooted through a couple spots in Carolina...

Carolina cities are really similar compared to other states. The hoods tend to look the same, the energy is the same. Only time I slid through Rocky Mount, I ran down to buy a car from a cat who was on the run back in 2015. I've always heard it was brackin out there, when I was in prison I had a longstanding issue with this guy from there but we could never link up...

Raleigh got hoods that kinda look like Memphis, but it don't feel like Memphis, not that far off the chain. I had issues with Raleigh cats when I was locked up but was tight with others. Raleigh is a hustler's city, I always respected the atmosphere of getting dough...

In '16 I met one of my potnas at a club in Downtown Durham and we went to meet some other cats at some projects. I'd been to Durham before because i used to mess with this girl there, and she was formerly in the field. Those projects were active....I always felt like Durham was a little overhyped, they into the gunplay but it's not something you don't see in other places...

Charlotte got a bunch of wild areas, it's a snitch city, transient city, got some legit gunners...

I never heard that either and I ran through Atlanta for a minute. I told cats before, I was mostly in the suburbs (Gwinnett, also had a drop point in Riverdale), but me and a homegirl from back West had a drop off in Northside Atlanta, and i affiliated with a handful of brothers from Zone 6 and Decatur...

Cats know there's a bunch of transplants getting money in Atlanta, and every once in awhile they might beef with the transplants. But the solid dudes from The A politic and affiliate with us more often than not...

I had a dustup there too, and I knew a guy from LA who was out there who had an issue with local nikkas too, but those were rare scenarios. No one ever told me "you can't move around here, you not from here", or anything like that. Not there, not in most of Carolina, not in VA, not in New York, these are all states I pushed drugs in. Only place I really got that energy was the one cat in Charlotte...
