Broke ass Jeanie is not going to waive and pay full salaries of two players then sign two more players and pay their salaries and the luxury tax. They gon focus on the buyout market but didn't even make any trades to free up space. Pathetic.

You can't punt the season with a 37 year old Lebron and a fragile AD.
You either blow it up completely or go all in.
These people are idiots![]()
I think they will be willing to move him and have better options in the summer.People keep bringing up the Lakers punting the season and not realizing that Westbrook isn't going anywhere next season unless he opts out of the last year of that deal. It's going to be the exact same situation next season with just a different supporting cast. They gotta figure that shyt out until after next season when Westbrook's contract is off the books.
Westbrook isn't opting out of $47 million dollars in the last year of that deal and would be stupid in taking a longer contract in return to move him.
If the Lakers are smart they will:
1. Put AD on a minutes restriction for the rest of the season. Immediately pull him if he winces even once. He only plays 25 minutes a game max.
2. Put Lebron on a load management schedule. No back to backs, a week or two off thrown in there.
3. Feature Russ. Let him pad stats and get his trade value up for the offseason.
If they make the play-in, throw them all in there and see what happens. If they don't,![]()

a lot of teams would be willing to take 1 year expiring over now, zero % chance he plays as a Laker next season unless he somehow pulls a miracle and plays good basketball againTeams aren't going to be too keen on taking Westbrook at $47 million dollars.
