Lakers got plenty of problems. AD being fragile, Westbrook being Westbrook, odd coaching rotations, LeBron playing garbage time to pad his stats.

But while everyone points the finger, the fact is LeBron is the disease and all those other problems are symptoms.

Lakers blew it all up to get him and of course the return isn't near what it cost. Hopefully they have good luck in the draft the next decade.

We don't have any picks this decade :russ:

Ahahahaha, time-out….wasn’t that a Coli poster?? I forgot the story behind that guy

Yes I haven’t seen him around here since Chris Bosh trolled him in the Heat’s Harlem shake video. He may have changed handles and/or genders since then.

This is stupid considering 29 other teams would trade their entire core even for a Disney ring. This is coming from someone who hates having Lebron on the team.

1. The Lakers aren't 29 other teams.

2. It's literally the worst ring ever won, from a business and entertainment perspective. No real money made since the winning team couldn't host games, no iconic parade. Overall a garbage ring and if that's all you have to show from trading away all the assets you spent years acquiring, then you lost.

Once again, just a stupid argument. The point of winning a ring is get a banner. No one ever brings up money made after winning a championship. There’s no value in winning that ring so what’s the value of keeping a young core that won’t win you a ring and didn’t win you a ring? You think OKC fans are waking up everyday like :blessed: We didn’t win a ring but at least we got to watch Harden, Durant and Russ. At the end of the day banners last forever, that’s the value of a championship. Imagine 40 years from now telling your grandkids that that Laker ring isn’t worth anything cause it was a Disney ring. That’s like saying the Celtics rings don’t matter cause they won it when there only 12 teams. No one will care that it was a Disney ring even a decade from now.

You had 4 straight years of tanking, got high lottery picks in all four years, and still missed the playoffs by a lot the year before LeBron arrived.

In 2022, would you be happy with a roster with Russell, Randle, and Ingram making the max?

Exactly because we know that lineup isn’t doing much of anything
