I'm honesty surprised Fox is letting it go this far. You would think they would be trying to settle. If they lose in court it's over, and if they manage to win in court, they still have all of their talent testifying that they lie to the audience everyday and think they are stupid

I'm sure their Legal Team is a bunch of 'Yes Men' and guys who aren't really good at law, but instead got through with connections. A competent squad would have put their foot down and told them what could happen, but they let it happen, and now they have to figure out a way to beat a very hard case.

Takes two sides to agree for a settlement, and guessing Dominion and their lawyers would rather take Fox News to the cleaners than settle outside of court.

Autocratic movements usually target the judiciary. One of Orban and Fidesz's first moves when they came back to power in Hungary was to alter the judiciary. Bolsanaro fought fiercely with the Brazilian judiciary, and obviously, attacks on the judiciary are a major cause of the protests in Israel.

It's part of the autocratic playbook and it transcends borders.
