slightly off topic, but i constantly ponder who is more damaging to society -- the pusher or the user....?

sure fox news pushes fake news onto its audience but if they didn't they wouldn't even have an audience....

if fox news said 'yo, let's tell the truth from a conservative perspective', just like in the clip where tucker got booed, the audience would bounce and head for oann and newsmax and breitbart.....

if the user demands something detrimental they will keep going until they get it.... somebody is going to supply them....

so again, i wonder who is more damaging to society, the pusher or the user.....?

Republicans carefully built this echo chamber over 30+ years. When Fox News started they operated at a loss. Theres a lot of pure racists but theres also a lot of people being propagandized

agreed.... but many of those people wanted to be propagandized.... what if instead of fox news selling its audience a vision of white supremacy but sold them a vision of black supremacy, would they have been as successful....? would they have even stayed in business the first year they launched.....? they didn't promote propaganda that the audience was opposed to or even skeptical of... the audience instead craved what they were being told... i think there would have been a fox no matter what, even if it wasn't ailes and murdock....
