What is David Weiss's background? at a minimum he has appeared incompetent. Chris Christie made an interesting point, that it could have just been sheer incompetence, because he was the US Attorney for Delaware. Called it a "Rinky Dink" office.
How do his guys and Hunter Biden's tier 1 white shoe law firm team NOT get the plea agreement basics straight? How does that happen?
The judge was right to question the fundamentals. Bad look for everyone involved.
I get how complex these things get and credibility gets dulled and gets amplified depending on partisan spin, but this shouldn't have taken 5 years. The IRS guys were heated, and made some legit points. But, so did Weiss. But, then the actual plea agreement was a mess. How does that happen, knowing all eyes are going to be on you?

Right, and he was a prosecutor before? but was he one of those Bill Barr types who served to an appointed position like 30 years before being brought back like the cops in movies, and spent the last 30 in private litigation?
