Weiss received his bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law.[2] He clerked for Justice Andrew D. Christie of the Delaware Supreme Court. He then served as an assistant United States Attorney in Delaware from 1986 to 1989, prosecuting violent crimes and white-collar criminal offenses. Leaving the U.S. Attorney's office, he worked as a commercial litigation associate and partner at the Duane Morris firm and as an executive at a financial services firm.[3][4] He returned to the Delaware U.S. Attorney's office as First Assistant U.S. Attorney in 2007.[2]

seems like he should have been able to handle this, unless he was just getting too old.

This is now potentially going to be a problem for President Biden. If the original plea was accepted, this would have been done and over with before the main election. Now that there is a Special Counsel, there is a chance Hunter could get hit with more serious financial charges and a trial may end up in the middle of the general election during the Biden vs Trump rematch.

It is true that Hunter is not a government official, but voters are stupid and would easily view Hunter being a criminal fukk up as a referendum on the President.. And he will have to spend the entire campaign being asked if he would pardon his son, which politically is not good.

Even with this I still think he beats Trump in the election unless other major things happen. His margin of victory could slip a little because of Hunter. You never know.

biden should just step the fukk down with some dignity, as a 1 term success. he's too old to run again, he has too many unfavorables, and this shyt with hunter is an absolute disgrace. some of the worst DC corruption i've ever seen

normally i wouldnt, but i trust newsom to beat trump in The Abortion Election. biden announces retirement tomorrow, and bidenflation, afghanistan, hunter, kamala, all of this shyt is a non issue for newsom that he doesnt have to defend

plus, biden stepping down voluntarily would look like a massive gap in morality between dems and republicans. trump trying to violently stay in power, and run again, looks sick and disgusting in comparison

He can't step down now after announcing a run for re-election. The media would portray that has him stepping down due to his son's behavior and his entire legacy will be shyt on as a result.
