This is now potentially going to be a problem for President Biden. If the original plea was accepted, this would have been done and over with before the main election. Now that there is a Special Counsel, there is a chance Hunter could get hit with more serious financial charges and a trial may end up in the middle of the general election during the Biden vs Trump rematch.

It is true that Hunter is not a government official, but voters are stupid and would easily view Hunter being a criminal fukk up as a referendum on the President.. And he will have to spend the entire campaign being asked if he would pardon his son, which politically is not good.

Even with this I still think he beats Trump in the election unless other major things happen. His margin of victory could slip a little because of Hunter. You never know.

As opposed to Trump who will be probably in jail by the time the election hits? The only one who has to worry is hunter. The real grift was when the Times buried this story during the most critical point in our last election. That story coming out would have sunk Biden and he would have lost the election. Everything after that point doesn't really matter and won't have the same impact.

You’re factually wrong about what you believe. You’re conflating two issues. It’s ok a lot of people do it. The current charges revolve around tax fraud and false statement on a firearms charge. There may be some other shyt down the line, but currently, that’s all we have.

The issue in 2020 was an unverified laptop that contained naked pictures of Hunter. And that not being covered.
