Bench Press Calculator: Calculate Your 1 REP MAX (1RM)

So just take 65 percent of your weight plus the number push ups you can do "all the way down" and plug in the numbers. It should give you a rough estimate of your max bench. It only goes up to 20 reps, by the way.
Why are you saying 65% of my body weight?

If I use my full body weight, it’s probably close to accurate. But it’s wayyyyyy low if I use 65% of my body weight, and it doesn’t seem to be asking for 65%

edit: oh I see, that calculator has nothing to do with pushups. You’re just using 65% of the body weight as a proxy to how many bench reps one could do at that weight if that’s how many pushups they could do. It would have to allow over 20 reps for that to be close to accurate. :pachaha:

When you do a push up, you're pushing around 65 percent of your body weight. So if you weigh 150 pounds (150 x 0.65), you're pushing 97.5 pounds for reps.

Here's another calculator where you can add more reps than 20.

the 60 push ups every other day? no.. you won’t see significant gains from that, but you will tone up. i’m just tryna maintain what I have. i’m 6’1 183 and i prefer the slim/cut look. I try to stay in the 180–185 range.
