Yessir, I can see them doing this too. Basically they gotta hit the ground running and grab our attention with some new ish, and not the same recycled keynotes as before.
The general public already knows the drill ad nauseam when it comes to the Xavier/Magneto frenemy bromance and the Cyke/Jean/Logan simp-triangle. Neither of them shyts had ticket prices skyrocketing. They need to elevate the other characters and really make this shyt look like a big inclusive event.
I heard it hasn't released in China yet. The first one did 100million in China, so i'm giving A&tW the benefit of the doubt.
But if China doesn't fukk with it (and they be wishy-washy), then...

I hope Marvel Studios takes inspiration from Morrison's New X-Men. I really enjoyed that run.

My sentiments exactly. I won't fault them if they bush Sunfire and Thunderbird since neither one stuck around that long. Maybe swap out Banshee for Rogue, or save Rogue for the sequel. Save Kitty Pryde, Havok, Psylocke, Gambit, etc. for the sequels.
I would say that as far as villains go, Magneto should definitely be saved for the sequel. I would start with Sentinels, or even have Mystique's incarnation of the Brotherhood as the villains to start with.
Well she could obviously be introduced in MCU as a villain and join the X-men MUCH later down the line.
Looking forward to the MCU version of X-Men. Fox literally focused on Wolverine, Charles, Magneto, & Mystique. They completely neglected the other characters that the x-men has to offer.
Having said that, I liked a few of the Fox movies, but the X-men have so much more to offer.
How mad are y'all gonna be when they announce that Captain Marvel 2 is being fast-tracked before the first movie even comes out and it will feature Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique?

I actually like female thor's design better than the OG. Girl ironman's armor was fugly as shyt tho
Thor became unworthy to hold the hammer or be called Thor (for some reason the name is also a title) and his ex-girlfriend Dr. Jane Foster was given Thor's hammer becoming the new Thor.
The big twist was that she was dying of cancer at the time.
I can't speak on Miles Morales other than people love him. Never read the female Iron Man stuff either.
Female Thor though? She was filling in for Thor while he was out doing cosmic shyt. But get this - she wasn't an Asgardian or someone who was putting in work on Earth. She was a cancer patient
and the Hammer was keeping her alive while also killing her as well or some stupid shyt. There were several "Thors" in that run as well. All of them better than her. All her shyt was written like a bad TNT pilot.

black spiderman(miles) problem is that his character growth is majorly stunted due to bendis sheltering him, but he got powers out the ass, so he was all flash, no substance
janethors problem is that she has been pushed as a better thor, even mjolnir likes her better than him at the cost of odinson. and the nonsense reason odinson was no longer worthy

What I hope happens is Disney bushes Avengers and focuses on X-Men. They had a nice run but their time is up,if they have the rights to X-Men now they should focus on X-Men and build them up and they can crossover in several years. I don't trust them to handle X-men properly as long as they are also handling Avengers. They will underpower X-Men in order to make Avengers look like hot shyt
