I've only seen Red State and Clerks 2. both were fiiirreeeee.
Clerks is one of my fav films..Clerks 2, Dogma, Chasing Amy are awesome too but Mallrats is a different level of awesome in my mind because it's so well written. So yeah I mess with him and even Jay and Silent Bob is funny. I think he should stick to the viewaskewverse but that's me

Dogma is bout the only thing of his I'd consider a classic. Cop Out was the 1st movie I ever walked out on. Complete garbage

Cop Out was a casting failure imo both Willis and Morgan are terrible.
I like most of his movies.
Personally, I can't see why everyone hails Mallrats. I thought that, while kinda funny, it was pretentious as fukk. Maybe I need to watch it again but I didn't like the way they spoke at all, especially Jason Lee.
Dogma is my shyt though and if I ever catch it on tv or just on a whim I'll sit through the whole thing. It's also one movie I could never introduce to my family cause I know they'd be mad as fukk.

when I watched Clerks 2 in theatres. Watched again a few years later and cringed... couldn't even finish watching. Might give it another chance based on people here praising it

his early movies were pretty fukking funny releases, but he seems to be one of those people that hollywood uses as it's punching bag. i thought jay and silent bob was good too tho...it had a bunch of throwback jokes one would only understand if they watched his older movies.
