Perhaps one has visited Earth and concluded that there is no intelligent life here.If I don't meet at least one god damn space wizard in my lifetime imma be upset.

I absolutely believe there's life on other planets. I believe that God (yes) created hundreds (or millions) of planets. I don't think that He's that shortsighted to create all of these worlds and only put life on one of them.

I believe that we are all made in His image. Indulge me. You and I probably look nothing alike, but we are both made in God's image. Whether we are short, tall, fat, slim, Black, White, etc., we are all made in His image. The same is true whether we are carbon based Eathlings, hydrogen based Martians, or plutonimalachite based Aliens. To suggest that only mankind is in God's image would assume that God is solely humanoid, when He is likely formless.What if he made those beings and planets but gave up on them?...

I don't think that other races have failed, I think that we just haven't met them yet (outside of a few possible isolated incedents).

Nothing doesn't exist. Dark matter handles that. The old myth that there's nothing but empty space in atoms is wrong, electrons exist. We don't know if space is infinite or finite.

We might be, statistically, we definitely aren't. There would have to be at least one other species out there. Though right now, we're not ready as a species to integrate, we're too primitive, war still runs things that logic and science should.
