Yes but it can really go either way
prime hagler would be the toughest fight for roy at true mw imo.
i wanna see how he would handle a steel chin/body, more power, timing, counters, volume, footwork, constant pressure, great 15rd stamina, constant orthodox/southpaw switches and great inside fighting.
i think roy stays on outside and try to outbox hagler on points with his speed.
I also think RJ would have the power to make MH respect & think before coming in at him. MH would make it a tough fight to win but I think RJ could beat him because of his superior footwork.
Roy could play a game of full court basketball, write a rap album, do a concert right before he got in the ring, stop at the stair and do an ice bucket challege, and would still give Robinson a beat down at 160. A PRIME! PRIME Roy Jones Jr was just to big, strong and fast for robinson. robinson was at his best at 147, 160 would be a whole different ballgame with a guy like jones who talent comes rare in this sport.
@Knicksman20 who else as a true mw would give roy his toughest fights?

Now you got me thinking hard about this.
Charley Burley because he was slick, awkward & could punch. He dominated
Archie Moore who was a LHW.
Ezzard Charles was a monster who probably would beat RJ more times in multiple head to head fights.
Holman Williams was one of the members of the Black Murderers Row (like Burley) who beat Burley almost every time they fought.
Those are ones I thought of right off the bat
