Myself. fukk 12(1)!
It was fu**ed up to kick him out at 13, but I would think 13 years of love and affection would be enough for him to have a soft spot for her.

It's on him, tho. Couldn't judge either way.
That's making the assumption that there was love and affection in those 13 years. There are plenty of emotionally distant birth parents out here, unfortunately.

It dont matter what your mama do. She carried you for 8 months. You owe her everything.

Just found this...

“...If you don’t know his story, you are probably going to think the next sentence will be about how his mother helped him become the man he is today. In a way she did, but not in a way you are probably expecting. At age 13, she kicked him out of the house and left him with these words: “I don’t like the look of you. You gotta go.”

For years, Butler bounced around from one friend’s home to another until his senior year, when the mother of one of his friends took him in and made him a part of her family — a family that already had seven kids in it...”

I can't imagine a mother doing something like that, but I don't know what she was going through as well.

If things were fu**ked up before then, I could understand him not wanting to do anything with her. If things were ok or better, then even with that, I'd think he'd want to reconcile in some way.

I’m wondering what could a 13yr old possibly do to get kicked out onto the streets by his own mom :gucci:
She wanted the dad and the "keep a nikkaz baby" plan backfired. He most likely resembled him so she hated him with a passion until she couldn't stand his presence. He probably did something little like forgot to take the meat out the freezer and she used that to toss him in the streets. Now she see his 30 million dollars (and soon to be way more ) ass on national tv like

Left Alone, Jimmy Butler Has Found NBA Stardom One New Family Member at a Time

Nor is it because he's still haunted by his childhood and would rather not reflect on where it took place. He lives, after all, in Houston during the offseason; Tomball is on the outskirts. "Me and my family are on great terms now," he says of his biological mother, whom he spent time with in Tomball last summer. "I'm good. I'm OK."

Does “we’re on great terms” mean that he broke her off a lil something? :lupe:

Obviously it wasn’t an ideal decision made for him, But it worked out in his favor. Whose to say she wasnt praying for him after the fact...:yeshrug:

That’s not a “radical idea”, that’s tucking your tail and taking an easy way out of a topic so that you don’t have to actually use your brain and moral code and provide an actual opinion. Millennial shyt. We see you kid.
The alternative is chatty patty shyt, thats millennial shyt.
