He is probably doubting himself somewhat after the injuries and knows he probably won't get back to the player he once was. With his age and the injuries that was to be expected. But he can still be a 15-17 ppg scorer in the league as long as he has that jumper.

Very clearly not the same player. Book was bussing his ass last night and he got frustrated. I don’t know why dudes are saying how can he be washed if all he does is catch and shoot, when he was clearly an elite wing defender at one point in time and one of the top 2 way players. Shooting requires elevation, balance and landing, over and over. He’s had 2 catastrophic knee injuries back to back. I’m 100% sure it’s affected his shot, and it’s showing.

I remember a few years back Klay started a season badly. Then he went to Chicago and went off, hitting 14 threes (still holds the record) and normal order was restored.
