I hae no desire to see Captain Marvel other than the fact that it is a continuation of the Marvel universe so you watch it to understand the bigger plot Only thing I knew about her was Rogue got her powers from her

I'm only going because I fully expect Rogue to steal her powers at the end of the movie,if I'm wrong let me know now.

Actually I've seen people hating across the board, so you wouldn't be alone. Most people are seeing it because of it tying into Endgame, which is probably why I'll also end up seeing it. It doesn't look all that interesting to be honest, but I wouldn't pray for it to fail though.

We all know what it is. We only watching because of the tie to Avengers. Outside of that I don't see why you would even care how it does in the box office.

There's two classes of captain marvel. DC's is more popular but they lost the right to the name so he goes by Shazam now. Marvel's captain marvel are a legacy of kree characters.(and a black heroine) who have mostly flamed out and died before marvel decided they needed a wonder woman and gave the title to carol. But her runs don't do well at all, so it doesn't come off as genuine.
