Part of why I think the last season of Angel, and more explicitly the last shot is so dope is by time the the season arc gets rolling these characters basically know they on the losing side...but they get up and do what they gotta do anyway. They go out swinging.

I know nothing of the show, but every time i read about it on reddit, apparently one of the episodes called "The Body" is one of the greatest television episodes of all time.

I don’t know about the greatest, that episode is a one and done for me. It was awkward and hard to get through.
