Does Beyoncés overall greatness make people forget about her great singing capability??

I'm not playing stupid, I'm calling it exactly as I see it. You can't say one of them was manufactured and not say the same of the other.

Now you're back peddling. You clearly said the video was misleading. I didn't take it anywhere else. You're the one who singled out the video and called it "misleading", not the post regarding the video.

Um, the video is in favor of her vocals or can you not hear.

The bit about Missy is irrelevant because if you're in here arguing about Aaliyah's vocals, not Missy's brilliance as a songwriter. She could've skipped right over Aaliyah and not even have mentioned her at all. The fact is that she mentioned Aaliyah, said she loved her vocals, and that she was a fan. Enough said.

Breh, you didn't shut down anything. You do what you always do. Downplay and insult an artist or group that's the topic of discussion until someone hits you with facts. Then you revert to the old "you weren't there", "there you go with the charts", "I'm not reading" stock responses.

1.) now youre just talking in circles. I'm not playing this game. we broke it down to you countless times in countless different threads.

2.) back-peddling how? I gave you the summary. you weren't even apart of the argument yet when I made that statement. USE YOUR BRAIN MAN!!!!! USE YOUR BRAIN!!!!!!:mindblown:

3.) how is the "bit" about missy irrelevant when the clip was based around missy, and Aaliyah was briefly mentioned in-between? and again, where does she give props to Aaliyah's vocal ability? she basically just said she sounds nice with the style, like shes a kids choir or something.

4.) I insult everybody. that's how I talk. I'm not gonna coddle and nurture you.

5.) I havnt used any of these so-called stock responses in this thread. but if you say something that warrants such a response in here, you will get one of those lines thrown in your face.

Studio puppet and Beyoncé don't even belong in the same sentence considering she's the ultimate performer and makes all her noise outside the studio

If having a writer makes you a puppet than Janet and Whitney are also puppets :francis:

Fact is Aaliyah is nothing more than a Ciara type artist (Ciara is actually a Better dancer) Except she died and received extra promotion.

Studio puppets don't last 20 years breh

Studio puppets can't do this 20 years into their career breh

had to up this ETHER.

1) I'm not talking in circles. It's not a game.

2) You clearly said the video was misleading without ever mentioning the rest of dude's post. I obviously read the post and I didn't misquote anything. If I did, I'm sure the poster on the other side of this argument will point it out and clarify it.

3) Now I know you're delusional and full of crap. She directly said "I LOVE HER VOICE". HER VOICE. You can spin it how you want to spin it, but it's a fact.

4) When I was referring to the insults, I was talking about your insults towards the groups/artists you're discussing. Child's play.

5) You just did.

And if this is ether, you were bodied by this post as well since you made it a big deal about songwriting. He called Whitney Houston, who happens to be one of the greatest vocalists ever a studio puppet and applied the same title to Aaliyah. But yeah, anything to push your agenda, no matter how hypocritical, contradictory, or backwards you look while doing it. It's evident you upped it to discredit the Whitney video.

well I wouldn't refer to shower-singing as str8 vocals.

that song was a str8 rip of a song that was already a CLASSIC CLASSIC. all she had to do was just hum over the record. and the other version was all about r.kelly's production.

she was basically given a Porsche & told not to crash.

okay youre playing stupid.

and as for matthew's quotes, THATS BUSINESS. everybody has a lane and milks it. you act like you cracked the code or something.

and ive criticized beyone plenty of times for being generic & formulaic. probably in this very thread. the fact that I'm in here defending her, is moreso a testament to how ridiculous yall are with this Aaliyah tuff.

lol @ the video title. you cant be this dumb.

you act like whitney Houston titled the video herself. it was titled by the person who uploaded the video. probably an Aaliyah stan. shoot, it was probably YOU.

she said she had a nice voice and complimented her style. she didn't say she was a knock-em-dead vocalist or anything of that nature like yall are trying to make it see,.

and this was mostly about missy. that's how it got to Aaliyah and her style. she briefly went to Aaliyah in the midst of it, and went back to talking about missy.

I didn't say anything about janet that I havnt already said on here before. take it how you want it.

I only enter Aaliyah threads if the OP is trying to push propaganda. and this isn't even an Aaliyah thread!! yall push this propaganda everywhere.

I don't even know what 8/25 is. you sound like a stan.
Whitney was always a fan of Aaliyah, she even casted her in a Movie role ABOUT SINGING. So obviously Whitney was speaking the truth in that video. Nobody praises Beyonce's voice besides cacs.

You making more excuses homie. The isley's version wasn't even a hit.. It was a forgotten 70's album track until Aaliyah touched it. And r kelly's production? The beat was simple as hell.. The song was all about Aaliyah's vocals and the song even starts off with a singing acapella lol.

Aaliyah had hood classics that everybody could listen to, nobody listens or take Beyonce's bubble gum shyt serious besides gay nikkas & cacs.

The best dancer (Janet) and singer (Whitney) were both huge fans Of Aaliyah and she never even had the chance to reach her peak. She was doing something right.

stopped reading right there.

and yall wonder why people don't take Aaliyah stans seriously.:mjlol:
Aaliyah's version was a top five hit and was sampled several times.

She put a new lease on that song. Even the Isley's said she did it better.

Whether he was being nice or not isn't the point. Aaliyah isn't the only deceased who sampled their music and Ron Isley has been vocal about artists sampling their music.

The quotes aren't worthless. Their there because holds more value than someone just spewing off random statements and try to pass them off as facts.

I rock with aaliyah but her pure vocals are inferior to Beyonces. It's even up for debate.

Niccaz overrate her more by saying that she's underrated.

She's a good technical/polished singer, but y'all trying to make it like her voice is special.

She gets the job done & dances on the stage like a wild banshee.Teeny boppers, hood rats, and sophisticated hood rats love her music.

Never seen a dude bumping her shyt.Guess they're doing it in private.

As a man, what songs do you vibe with?

Personally, I think Me Myself And I is her dopest song.

But what are y'all vibing to? throw me some tracks.

Y'all ride for her......throw me some tracks, then.......throw me some tracks

:ehh:
