Yes I feel that if you have even a vague familiarity with history you should care. Is it something I think about much? Well the answer would be no but I do recognize the danger and the fact the United States has an obligation after Ukraine gave up those nukes. I also recognize that it was the right thing for all sides as it likely prevented a future nuclear war.
