What happened yesterday/today was a franchise shift in direction. Getting back to what they did to win in 07 (and started when they became owners in 03). Doing what the Rays have been doing, but with more financial opportunity (and much more financial awareness). John Henry and co have built a world series before, they need to go back to what they did.

This isn't the Wilpons. It's not even close comparable.
