I still get the feeling that the universe isn't gonna tolerate this Doctor and we're gonna wind up with some Resurrection of the Daleks levl fukkery and despair before this season is done

This week's was ok. The Pting was a bit silly though. The writer of next week's wrote the brilliant drama 'Murdered By My Father'. It's also the first of this series not to be written by Chibnall in any large capacity. It will be interesting to see what it's like.

It's likely there won't be a Xmas day episode this year and instead will be replaced by a new year episode. Also looking likely that series 12/38 won't air until 2020. Disappointing if true.

If the Daleks turn up if at all it probably won't be till the special. Chibnall said they hadn't turned up and there was only 2 weeks of filming left in a recent interview. If there's anything to speculate about the finale it's likely the Stenza will be involved. 8,9 & 10 are the episodes with very little info available.

Demons of the Punjab was pretty excellent. Nothing surprising about the twist though I'm sure a
gun shot should have been obvious on the priest body to clear the aliens[

Good acting all around especially since as an American I don't know jack about what was going on with India, Pakistan, Britain, and the carving up of India into Pakistan.

This was my 2nd favorite episode of the new season.

I couldn't put my finger on what was missing from the show now, but it hit me: The Doctor doesn't feel like a force of nature yet. There's no aura of power. No overlooming presence. She doesn't have a feeling of "The Doctor will fukk your shyt up."

They brushed against it in Rosa, with the way she handled the other time traveller. They kinda brushed up against it here, too.

Enjoyed it. Good to see Lee Mack in it at long last. Next 3 episodes sound good. Especially episode 9.

No Xmas special this year. New Years Day instead.

Cummings was great. I like how the Doctor acknowledges that she's in a different body and it affects how she interacts with the past.

The episode was scary yet kept to the theme this season of humans are a capable of being as much of a monster.

Agree that Cumming was great. Nice to hear him in his native language again. Really great episode but the constant blaring music really let's it down. Builds no tension when it's so relentlessly loud and intrusive.

Seen so many people praising Akinola's music but I'm not enjoying it. I reckon there was less than 5 mins of last night's episode that didn't have any in the background.

Cumming & Siobhan Finneran had some great dialogue to work with. Chewed the scenery with delight at every chance they could get

Looking forward to 'It Takes You Away'. The Actor Kevin Eldon is the guest star!

I'm really enjoying this season. I haven't been this excited for new Who episodes in a minute, even though each episode has it's flaws. The lastest episode finally had a decent monster (alien).
