After seeing what happened last night it reminded me of something. I remember last year when Capaldi first became the Doctor there were some trailers and one of them was this one:
The trailer had me like "That sounded like Davros... is he back?" but nothing came of it since they focused on Missy as the main big bad last season. But in the episode last night when the intro went down like....
Child: Save me! You gotta help me!
Doctor: Ok I will... by the way what's your name?
Child... Davros
Doctor:
Me at home watching:
Child: Where you at?!?! SAVE ME!
It comes full circle now... if they get rid of Claire and keep Missy as a new companion this Doctor will know no bounds

and THEN they didn't make it any better by showing that scene where 4th was debating if he had the right to kill the Daleks before they existed.
Actually, them showing all of them interacting with Davros.
I know some NuWhovians are gonna gripe about them having war with biplanes, though. I might have to explain it to my bestest, they had been at war there for so long before Davros and the 4th Doctor met that all their tech had blended together. Nothing became obsolete because they kept blasting each other back to the stone ages.
Who gives a shyt about the rest of them folks, though. they should watch the old eps. This one cat got damn near the whole series on DailyMotion.
Missy, though.... grey eyes and evil and tickling nikkas balls....
I enjoyed Missy but aside from her I wasn't really feeling this episode all that much. It had everything that I have grown to dislike about the Moffat era of Who.
Hopefully they can bring the second part to a satisfactory conclusion next week.

I'm actually starting to see where a lot of you anti-moffat cats are coming from.
It's like wrestling, right.
You can be GREAT matches that hit all the buttons like Flair/Steamboat, Dynamite Kid/Tiger Mask, Lotta Japanese shyt (4Th Doctor shyt, RTD at his BEST, Moffat at his BEST, a lot of 11th if you could watch arcs as one story)
You can be bleh and be like Current RAW
or you can be ECW/Spotmonkey wrestling where dudes climb a ladder and jump off a bridge into a 1790 splash and the other dude kicks out 500 times..... which is what Moffatt can be sometimes. 50 cool ideas, 15 minutes to do them. Let's pull them out of a hat and have someone get pinned and lose.
That was pretty much hwo I felt watching it.
Its like he was in his office thinking that it would be cool to have planes frozen in the air and to have The Doctor playing electric guitar while riding a tank but he really had no interest in how those things were made to fit into the script, he just wanted them.
I got it now. Even though I still enjoy it, I'll never think negative of folks opinion on moffat's writing again.
The planes were explained by Missy (trying to get attention) and the Doc's antics were explained by UNIT/Clara, he picked a time where he couldn't affect the future too much so he could fukk around a bit. Apparently this Doctor likes the guitar
