You REALLY like that 3&D excuse

2 top 10 players

Defensive player of the year candidate
Perennial 6 man of the year candidate
Top 10 3 Pt shooter
Great bench production

No team is perfect…even The 17 Warriors

They had enough

:dahell:

Also, DPOY candidate doesnt mean they had great defense. All of their wings sans Paul couldn't guard a broomstick

I am with Doc on this one none of those dudes won anything before or after Doc. I blame the players just a bunch of divas
Rivers won nothing neither since then. And he already has an injury excuse this year again. If sixers lose to celtics they'll tell oh Embiid wasn't fully healthy.

He just has bad luck. Every sinr he came to the 76ers he had an inury or a player who suffered from mental breakdown. Embiid going to be a coach killer

Excuses excuses. They lost in the bubble which was well suited for injury prones like kawhi and he had a healthy series. And they still blew 3-1 lead.

He lost in a bubble where his main costar complained about being there. Start holding these players accountable.

Folks agreeing with this? This point doesn’t even add up to what Doc said. He didn’t say they lost bc they’re losers, he said ‘we didn’t have chemistry’.

Which is dumb bc as Crawford pointed out winning teams always have issues. It’s not always kumbaya.

Also you can go down the line with almost every title team and see guys who ‘haven’t won before or after’ a coach. What that mean? The big 3 Celtics stars didn’t win before or after Doc. KG and Paul some losers? They owe their career to Doc? Ray Allen more of a winner than them bc he won again as a role player? :mjtf: Dumb comment.

Doc is wrong and ironically it’s in large part bc of the two men talking. In REAL TIME, the clippers fatal flaw was their wing play. They had a revolving door of old and/or bad defense wings for years: Caron butler, Matt Barnes, Randy foye, Paul pierce ….and Jamal and JJ

Even JJ in his prime on a finals squad wasn’t a starter... But started for LA. Jamal Crawford ain’t started most of his career…but started for LA. The clippers are overrated after the fact. In real time no one expected them to win and not bc of ‘chemistry’ but bc of lack of talent
