The machine don't make the man.

It don't matter if it's an air fryer, electric griddle, stove, Weber grill, or an open pit I can cook my ass off.

I've cooked it on 400 for 9 minutes and it came out perfect. Then I've cooked it on 400 for 12 mins and it came out perfect.

The thicker the steak the more time.

The very first time I just put it on 390 and put it for 9 mins. I actually didn't use a meat thermometer because I didn't have one and I didn't even finger test it when time was up. I figured, it'll either be good enough to try again or trash enough to never try again. It was perfect.

Second time I tried I bought some trash ass steaks from Walmart which were glued together. You could tell they were different pieces of meat just glued together. They were trash. I won't ever buy "steaks" the first one I got was from a local grocery store.

Medium rare.

Outside is medium inside is rare, not blue rare but rare. I swear to God the first time I did it I pulled it out and was like :martin:. I was very prepared to take a couple bites then throw it in the trash and never try it again but it was perfect.

You can flip it halfway through if you want. I've only had about 5 steaks in it. I haven't seen a difference when flipping or not flipping.

You season it before you put it in?

I ask that because after my steaks cane out a disaster in the air fryer I was determined to have some good steak even if I had to pan seer them so I had to YouTube learn that shyt and some ppl say season beforehand some say dont...

Yes.

First time was a store bought rub.

2-3 times just salt and pepper.

Then two other times with a homemade rub.

What are some good websites or YT channel for recipes? Got one last week

To be honest I don't think there's one central site.

Imo you gotta think of whatever it is you want to cook, then watch several videos of people doing the same thing. Then use your best judgment for a happy medium.

Cause shyt isn't always the same. For instance some steak recipes say 390-some say 400. Some salmon says 390-some say 400.
Hardboiled eggs, fries, etc all have varying Temps of +10/-10 and times that vary...to be honest

The most difficult part was somewhat discovering what you could or what people have made that ain't in manuals.

I'd check out a few of the big Air fryers cookbooks that's come with them via off, or the recipes on the sites then check youtube or Google various recipes and see what else people are doing.

That's what I did.

I’m a believer-made steak last week and just cooked some chicken thighs while watching Houston semi-smash the Warriors!

20 mins on the poultry setting, turned the chicken once and it came out delicious! I like my skin crispy af and it was still juicy inside-pretty easy to clean too! Very tempted to say I won’t be touching the oven this summer, made some Brussels sprouts as well.

Here’s chicken thighs again I lowered the time from the fryer poultry default! Another Dubs-Rockets game is on too, let this be a lil good luck charm
