Facts Diddy was hitting people upside the head threatening to throw people off roofs and they didn’t get him out there, he would do all Dame did plus more yet everyone still did deals and kee-keed with him including Hov
Thing is though, Puff had a better sense of who to turn that egomaniac shyt off around and charm, and at the end of the day dude was a legit music marketing genius who built numerous HUGE artists from the ground up. Puff was better at making relationships and creating acts.

dame dummy tried to handle corporate big wigs like street nikkas*

That's what corporations are though. The only difference is the degree of violence being used, but that gets replaced with blackballing and cutting off resources/livelihood.

Dame didn't act anyway different than the rest of the folks. The screaming on folks is/was standard practice...every day ish. Loudmouth egotistical bullying is how moves are made.

He's built up artists too. Other than Jay, Kanye was all Dame's support, however initially reluctant. Cam doesn't get a second life, and Dip Set don't rise to prominence without Dame. Beans stays in Philly without Dame, or has the career of Most Wanted, Figgas and every other Black Friday managed artist of that era.

Obviously he has been conspired against. That’s not even a legitimate question.

The question is whether or not you feel he deserves it or brought it upon himself (the last one is definitely a yes too lol).

Or maybe that was his style of conducting businesses? Maybe that was the way he conducted business.I think that particular industry don’t like black men with power using aggressive business tactics getting things done. I think they like soft docile negros.

and yeah a club promoter is very specific type of person/business. it's all sales and smoke and mirrors. Which is what Dame's brand was.

I am sure he moved some work or ran some game way back when, but he was mostly throwing parties and promoting clubs.

funny yeah he still is doing the same shyt, but withoiut the brand, the glitter of the late 90's, he just looks delusional.

I don't know if that's obvious.
What great business opportunities did Dame have that people conspired against?
When an executive position is open, the people who make those hiring decisions see all the things we see. I don't think it requires a conspiracy against him to understand why he is where he's at.

Dame brought a lot of stuff on himself…

For one, he fumbled the whole Curren$y situation and ended up losing money behind it

Two, Dame was exhibiting signs of the “Loudest one in the room is the weakest one in the room” syndrome. Who told him that it was a good idea to bark on folks in meetings?. Best believe when they got in position, they wanted to get revenge against Dame for mistreating them
Them same folks he was barking at was barking at somebody else. Business ain’t friendly.
