Dame didn't play the game and it showed.

One thing I realized dealing with white people in business is the various ways they say fukk you without using any expletives and a smile. Most people take on the chin and smile because you may end up doing business in the future.

Dame talked to everybody any old way. People don't like to sonned or demeaned, especially in public or in a corporate setting.

Dame burned a lot of bridges just by talking reckless to people.

You’d know more than me, but there were reports that Dame was making a lot of decisions in the end without even telling his equal partner/face of the label. Stuff like trying to make Cam VP without dude’s knowledge, knowing they had friction would definitely wear on me. It was also said that Dame was taking label money, and doing whatever he wanted without the other two knowing, which if true would be pretty foul.

I can definitely speak on this part, lol.

There were like 4-5 VP's. So every time an artist had a label under Rocafella, that made them a VP of the company. That didn't mean Cam could do anything under Roc's roof. It just meant that he had a controlling stake in his own company, UNDER Rocafella. The magazines created a weird narrative with that one back then. Beans was a VP too because he had SP. Same for DJ Clue. Everyone was getting that title if they had a label under Roc. People made a big deal of it because of gossip and saying Cam and Jay had beef, so he shouldn't have gotten the title. But that was how it went for everyone.

The label money situation was after the Roc already folded. He got that from an escrow account that was just sitting there and untouched. Him and Jay were already done by the time he dipped into that account.

Yeah... You're lying. :heh:

Killa said it himself that Dame didn't consult with Hov about that VP.

I honestly don't care about your connects and what office you were in at that time. You're defending a dikkhead who was a dikkhead to everybody. Not just white people.

He screwed over Mack with his taxes to the point where Beans almost owed the IRS ridiculous money. Basically called Bleek a hoe for performing Hov records on a set.

That's just what he does. He gets his kicks looking down on people. Doesn't matter what color they are.

Dude sounds like he’s on Dame’s payroll. Literally everyone from that era has conflicted feelings about Dame but he wants everyone to think son was Nelson Mandela or music.

Yes, they did. Dame isn't/wasn't the ONLY megalomaniac a$$hole that barked on people. His peers and the entire generation before him all did the same thing...and the generations before that. However, Dame was one of the few that were on the artists' side against the powers that be, so he wasn't 100% for suits. Because of that, once they saw the opportunity to get him out of the game, they did so. Seemingly, he also had no mentor to side with him, unlike the others.

I didn't say he had to consult with anyone else, I said he gave Cam the same title and deal that he did everyone else. Everyone was VP's at Roc. It was always like that. That's just how it was. People saying he did it to spite Jay are just wrong.

As far as Beans is concerned, Beans himself has always said that Dame was the only one who looked out for him when he had legal trouble. Dame was the one paying for his legal fees, and also gave him bread when he came home. When the label was folding, he signed Beans directly to DDMG, so that Beans could get paid. So like I said all of these people are dudes I spent a lot of time around. For years. I have respect for all of them. No favoritism at all. But a lot of what people assume about them and their personalities, is just inaccurate. It's online gossip that's just based on assumptions. They all did dumb sh*t, and for mad different reasons.

Bro, the only people talking sh*t about Dame are the same white execs and their stooges that Dame has been complaining about since the late 90's. Who's "literally everyone"?

No artists have ever said Dame did anything foul to them. No one on Roc ever got done dirty. Y'all gotta stop with the fronting on here, lol. You don’t like Dame, that's fine. But you're just making up sh*t.
