Do you think DBZ and other manga franchises can ever replicate Marvels success on the silver screen?

Of course they can(DBZ and One-Piece), but the people in charge will the make the thing look completely unrecognisable to the source, b*stardasize it before there's even a script and just upon hearing the name and won't allocate the required budget so

i don't think the following of dbz now in 2015 is large enough for the budget/actors to be done right.

it would need to be done like harry potter, 7 films minimum to do it justice.

you can do films like avengers because most americans have heard of the main characters, and not be knowledgeable about their background/ being a fan.

almost everyone has heard of iron man, captain america in the states. i would bet my paycheck most people don't know who vegeta and piccolo are...

before all these marvel movies most people below the age of 30 who arent into comics didnt know anything about iron man, guardian of the galaxy or antman. I'd be much more hyped for a remake of the series with a larger budget and not with the corny computer animation from the last movie
