Basically any woman found to be thotting around outside of her marriage is dealt with by one of the male family members or any woman that is found to have children outside of marriage is forced to have an abortion or is threatened to be killed by the family. Men are who are found going around sleeping with other men's wives as well as impregnating women over and over again same thing.

When you look at these communities they tend to have very strong family structures and the out of wedlock birthrate is always in single digits. Despite the criticism it obviously draws you've to admit it does seem to work.

Do you think such measures would be needed to get things back under control in the black community?

This is an extreme and unnecessary form of punishment.

To change a community you only really need a system of incentives I.e. rewards and punishments.

Because there are strong incentives to get married (ie. More Money) in the military black and white marriage rates are the same.

We should start looking there if we want answers.

you can't really count on these stats because abortion and infidelity are illegal in most of these countries, you're only gonna be counting the women who get caught

it harms kids too, out of wedlock babies in middle eastern countries, even children of rape, are abandoned in the streets cause of the consequences to the women... sometimes they'll kill the girl if she's been raped...

I don't think marital dissatisfaction is any different in Western countries to be honest, the divorce rate is crazy high in most western countries. I do agree with you on the Child Abuse point though children are not treated well in those societies however at least they grow up in stable two parent house-holds with their biological mother and fathers.

The divorce rate is 35% or so in America because people can leave marriages when they are dissatisfied. The dissatisfaction in the societies you are talking about is FAR broader and deeper. 70-80% of the marriages are shyt, and in the worst one the depth of the shyt is worse than a western couple could hardly imagine. Until you've known a woman who burned herself to death in her own kitchen because she felt that was the better option than being beaten and raped every night of her life, you wouldn't understand.

And what is your option for women who need to leave such relationships? In a society like that they're treated as dirt if they leave even the most abusive, worthless husband. For most it's almost impossible to make a living outside of prostitution, and even if they don't choose prostitution the society assumes they have and treats them like one, merely because they left. They can't remarry because no man wants to marry them unless he has enormous issues too, not that they want to marry after the trauma they've been through. What do you want them to do with that?

There is truth to what you're saying but my suggestion was never to take women out of the work place or education. It was simply to implement an honour system which would mostly deal with reproduction. I wouldn't even be against pre-marital sex as long as a child is not produced out of wedlock.

Such a society doesn't exist anywhere, for obvious reasons. Once you have sanctioned violence to enforce sexual norms, then violence for control becomes normalized across society. And once violence for control is normalized, then women end up on the bottom of EVERY structure, not just marriage.
