No, A is really high, top box office type...I'd put her at a B or a C...I don't think she could ever be a TOP draw, must see actress in a new movie. jmpo

I was just thinking yesterday about how trash young actresses are now. We really don't have a new crop of superstars. Who is one actress putting butts in seats under the age of 30? Jennifer Lawrence is probably it.

Stars haven't been bankable of their name in over a decade. Franchises and IP are everything.

She's not A-list but I think she has one of the low key greatest careers for a female actress. She's been involved in a lot of great projects and of late has been one of the lead faces in a lot of them. Trying to think of a male equivalent of someone who wasn't the main star but always ended up with big roles on great projects.

There are no A-list black actresses right now. A-list is Denzel and Will Smith. Viola Davis and Halle aren't even Don Cheadle/Larry Fishburne/Sam Jackson status. Regina King is a good journeywoman, like a black female William Fichtner or some shyt like that.
Sam Jackson is a list too if we being real.he headlines and steals the show on almost everything

I consider A-list actors to be people who headline movies so I wouldn't put Regina King in that category.
She is one of the best actresses working today though but she is more of a "character actor" in my estimation.
She gets cast in supporting roles that she knocks out of the park.
This.
