Do you get turned off by Black events that seem like “Blavitiy, Root, New Black” type of function?

The kind that shyt on and hate other black people for the most miniscule things.
Most of these weirdos are adults who still live at home. The only time they’re around other people is when their mama throws a cookout and they lookout the window like,

waiting on their plate :mjlol:

These cats are the weird cousin the family whispers about:russ:

Normal folks wouldn’t have issues with different types of black folks getting together and having fun while expressing themselves :yeshrug:

They seem like they’re always trying to “reimagine masculinity”, incorporate feminism, and a high alphabet soup focus.

You know I’ve always wanted to go to Afro-Punk for years but nowadays, they definitely give off the type of energy that you’re describing to the T :francis:

I’ll post a photo. I didn’t want to promote the event, it popped up on my timeline.

founder is a bi/gay man. lgbt terms all over the team member bio & about us page. i would not be surprised if i went to their event and it was as u described in the op cuz they make it pretty clear what to expect

there's various people who worked for the organsiation (including one of the founders I believe) who went public about how the whole thing was overcome and basically became a bougie corporate event

I remember that. But shyt was bound to happen if we're being honest.
