If he didn't know that based on the following:

Harbs and co went after Hasselbeck 2 offseasons ago. He declined and they went with Alex.

Haarbs and co went after Peyton last offseason. he declined and they went with Alex...but signed him to a deal that allowed them to walk away after 1 season.

Add to that they traded up to draft his heir apparent.

I mean, if he thought his job wasn't up for grabs then he's a clown. I don't really care if he broke the record for completion percentage on 5 yard checkdowns. The guy is an 8 year vet playing in a simplistic offense. He should be head and shoulders above Kaep but he isn't.

To prove himself IMO he should goto KC. Thats a team that has ALOT of talent imo (idk why they are so bad). If he can go there and turn them into a respectable team then the sympathy will be well warranted, other than that I cant even fault Harbaugh for doing what he's doing.

I don't think Alex would see Hasselbeck as a threat, dude was at best an insurance policy in case Alex didn't get better or if he got hurt, just like he is in Tennessee.

Did you watch out drives? We had like a 10 minute drive. Look at the starting field position on a lot of the drives.

Alex is last in yardage and 3rd down conversions and you're happy with that.

Let me address the 1st statement, that's because Breas, both Mannings, Rodgers, & Brady are already elite or atleast deemed as elite. fukk I need to mention them for.

I'm mainly saying I don't want some dude that may do well but then fukks up big like Romo, all flash but bu substance ala Sanchez and Rivers, nice and puts on highlights but can't stay healthy ala Vick and so on.

Ryan for as well as he's been playing (in the last 2 years) hasn't really done shyt. Matter fact he even though he has as many rings as Alex does, he hasn't been as far in the playoffs.

Again, there are only like 4-5 so called "elite" QB's in the league
