I've seen Chinese people blow torch live dogs for food.

I've seen them beat rats, cut them up, and call it chicken.

I've seen them recycle sewage water and fry food with it (gutter oil)

I've seen Chinese people inject their shrimp with silicone to charge more by the pound.

I've seen Chinese people sell plastic rice to Jamaicans IN JAMAICA!

I've seen Chinese people put fake fish eyes on dead fish so it looks cleaner than what it really is.

But i never see Chinese people eat the food they sell....

I don't know the distinction. Is it just made by Chinese and authentic recipes? What is the difference between what we are presented with in America?

Not to derail but I would rather try some true Caribbean or African food first. I haven't been as blessed as some of yall that were born on it.

Caribbean food the goat breh. Depending on where you live at it shouldn't be hard to find some.

Because you got to westernized Chinese spots.

I said eat where they eat if you want authentic Chinese. A sit down restaurant with them as patrons. I done it for years... Go with some Asian brehs.

Yea. I have some chinese dudes I'm cool with and I've eaten at their restaurants. I've had authentic Peking duck. I have eaten chicken feet with rice and a spicy sauce.

I have also eaten chinese fried chicken and jellyfish in China when I visited.

I haven't actually ate at Chinatown in Chicago since my youth, but nowadays they have even more restaurants, shops, a bit of a nightlife, even a fairly new library. Like I was telling other brehs at my gig, we oughta start hopping on that L train and visiting the food spots there, instead of steady patronizing these low level ass Chinese joints in our hoods that's happy to sell us that same ol' basic ass bull shyt.

Often times, at least here in the DMV, the “authentic” Chinese food will be on a whole other menu. From what I've seen, the menu is either on the reverse of their main America-Chinese menu or it's written on a chalkboard somewhere lowkey. Also, the menu items will usually be written in Mandarin characters.

All you gotta do is pull out your Google translate app and feast.

It's funny this thread came up. Me and a few of my coworkers went to this Chinese restaurant outside DC a few days ago.

I had their Sichuain Pork and hot and sour soup :banderas: My goodness that food was hittin
