Flair always seemed to be more known/revered in the south to me. The way I look at it is when I was a kid before I got into wrestling I knew who stone cold and the rock were. But I didn't know anything about flair

Can we please stop trying to discredit him because he doesn’t have a mission impossible type of movie under his belt, those types of movies aren’t the only thing that determines if someone is a leading man or not.
First off if he was in 90% of the movie then he was a co star. It counts, you can’t expect an actor to carry a movie by himself anymore. He is the biggest star in Hollywood you can tell because he keeps getting big budget movies and shows. If he wasn’t making the studios money then they wouldn’t keep putting him in movies. Hobbs and Shaw was a huge success and that movie was made for him and because of him.

Even if cats “know” Flair’s name...Rock, Austin, and yes even Hoegan impacted the world in a way that Flair just hasn’t.

Those three were able to turn casual, non-wrestling fans into marks, more or less. Flair is in the conversation on some “too” shyt, but he’s not leading the conversation, storied wrestling career, gimmick, and longevity be damned
