I don't think you can really pin it down to a particular parent being a certain color not. Genetics is kinda like the lottery in that sense. My ex girl was light skinned (Saweetie color) and both her parents are dark (Don Cheadle) but her grandmother was light so it skipped a generation. It just goes like that, unpredictable.
