OF COURSE, BUT WHAT DID U EXPECT? IT WAS PRODUCED BY DRE AND CUBE...IN REALITY, REN WAS MUCH MORE IN YOUR FACE AND JUST AS IMPORTANT TO THE GROUP AS ANY OTHER MEMBER. IN FACT, HE WAS THE MAIN WRITER/EMCEE...HE WROTE 90% OF EAZY'S DEBUT. HE'S ALSO THE ONE RAPPING THE MOST GUEST VERSES ON SOLO ALBUMS AND TALKING THE MOST ON NWA SKITS ETC....THEY MADE HIM SEEM LIKE THE SHY HYPE-MAN WHEN THAT WASNT THE CASE AT ALL. BUT CONSIDERING HE'S NOT A HUGE NAME, IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE....OTHER THAN THAT, THE MOVIE WAS EXCELLENT.

I see what ren was complaining about before the movie dropped.
Movie didn't do Ren or post dre and cube ruthless any justice. They really had Ren looking he was Eazys weed carrier and not a pivotal member. They didnt even bring up Cube leaving to go to school when they were in full swing or Michel'le playing a HUGE part in the breakup of the group or that Eazy wasn't dead broke after dre left because he was still getting paid off of Dre when he went to Death Row and had bone thugs and ren selling. They fit in a bunch of shyt that they could've cut to give Ren more dialogue and I still don't know why he looked like G-Dep.
But what do you expect from a movie where Dre didn't hit any women and bossed up on suge knight. Only sad part is non old NWA fans will see this and really believe that this is how shyt went. These dudes literally rewrote history in their favor.

"But it's not an MC Ren movie. It's an NWA movie. Y'all complaining too much"
Wish they would have went in depth with Mc Ren be side it was like they made him into some damn bodyguard or that dude that was helping Kunta kinte after he got whipped into saying his name was toby.
lets be honest though, the cube tracks were easily the best tracks on the album, he disappears towards the end and no coincidence the album is stronger up front.he was reduced to backup singer status, nikka was a hypeman to cube during the nwa concerts.. they showed 5 bars from quiet on tha set and 5 bars from real nikkas and that was only to segway into no vaseline and we all know about that song
if im a 15 year old just learning about NWA from the movie my takeaway is this, Cube wrote everything, Dre produced everything by himself.. Ren spit from time to time but not as much as Cube, Yella was comedic relief
Fact is Ren wrote the vast majority of Eazy's debut album, he appeared on more Straight Outta Compton songs than Cube, and he carried the superior nikkaz4Life album.. got a platinum and gold plaque on his first 2 solo efforts, changed his life and fell the fukk off the face of the Earth.. but as it pertains to his time in NWA, he was arguably the best rapper and obviously the best rapper on their best album so its fukked up how history will look at him as the original Michelle Williams/Tony Yayo

I believe that he got what he deserves I mean yes he did put a lot into NWA but if they put all five of them stories on one movie that movie would have been longer than Django Eazy Cube and Dre were the main people that everyone really looked at when it came to NWA so just show they stories

They could have not gave him any lines except his verses.I dont think mc ren got to speak a full sentence until about 50 minutes into the movie. it was kinda

u dont have to show everybodys personal life in the movie, but be accurate in the contributions that they made to the group and they didnt do that at all, and when NWA was together nobody gave a fukk about dr dre, he was prolly less popular than mc ren till he bounced
