Melo gets targeted because he is a great player who does not give 100% all the time, he forced the trade he wanted and the fans and media can tell when he slacks off, i think he has the talent to win rings but doesn't put in the work to get there, when you compare others in his class they got better quick, because they avoided the night life and put in work in the gym.

More so his status in the game, top 5 skilled but he's in a situation where he may never win a ring. The heat and celts are big hurdles for the next 4 years. Also I understand he's made it out the first round but only once I think. They will both be legend in their own right for being the best scorers of their time but always fall short in terms of being compared to the greatest players of all time due to bad playoff matchups.
