:whoo: Let's go

The last time George Karl was coaching Melo, yall were in the WCF. You havent been out the first round since.

And everybody talks about Melo's defense, but explain why Denver's defense last year was WORSE than any year Melo was there? :ohhh:

So are you really arguing that Melo is a great defender and it was Denver's coaching and system that was holding him back? :childplease:

And last year they lost to the world champ Miami Heat so tell me, which of these teams should he have beaten?

I can tell you've been a fan of some losing teams ole "bu bu but we were supposed to lose" ass nikka. :bryan:

Those Nuggets teams were talented, too. nikkas just didn't do enough to take it to the next level. True, they lost to some good teams, but it wasn't for lack of talent.

You follow the teams system melo wasn't out there being a turnstile on defense either . His primary role was to score , why isn't gallo playing elite defense over there ? Or kd?

nikka, if you're a franchise player you do everything, including playing defense. Stop making excuses for this man. Gallo has played better D than Melo, imo--at least here in Denver. I personally think Melo can be a great defender, and he has shown he can play defense, but he doesn't try as hard on that side of the floor on a consistent basis. He can do it though. Watch when he's matched up against LBJ--the effort'll be there. Go re-watch the 2009 series vs. LA--the effort was there. It's all up to him, but you're foolin yourself if you think Coach Karl was holding him back on the defensive side while he was in Denver.

No :beli: you said your better already

We gon see on December 9th and March 13th. :troll: #MarkThisDay

if y'all are just as good right now as that '09 WCF squad with melo then u wouldn't need 7 tries, would u? :mjpls:

I see you and stat are being some remedial-ass nikkas. How y'all gonna act like one season is representative of 7 years? Clearly, advancing past the 1st round was the exception to the rule--the rule being us going fishin after round one.

I didn't realize Adrian Dantley was yall coach last year

:wtf: What you talking bout breh? Please don't tell me you're bout to blame Dantley for some shyt. :upsetfavre:

No. I'm not arguing that at all actually.

I'm saying that the Nuggets played considerably worse in the reg. season under Dantley (.500 ball) than they did under Karl (they were the #2 seed when he left the team) and it carried into the playoffs, when Sloan coached circles around him.

Like I said the last time Melo & Karl were in the postseason together, Denver reached the WCF. So no, they're not just as good
