may be animals... but we matter more.
We manipulate the Earth, the environment, the other animals. How do we not matter more than animals we can genetically engineer, force reproduce, keep as pets, study, clone, and manipulate? We study the history of all animals including ourselves, and we also study the Universe as a whole. We protect some animals as the become endangered, we've sent organisms into space to see how they deal with vacuum conditions and cosmic radiation.

Define matter more breh. And if the question is different.. the answer is yes vastly different- we may resemble a chimp or can possible trace our DNA back to ancient fish or whatever... but complex thoughts and walking upright is just the beginning of how we are different from the rest of Earth's organisms.
