I saw your point until athletics became a multi million dollar corp, with avenues for further empowerment for people of color. You really think Magic woulda been able to buy the Dodger without it?
While genetics may have naught to do with it it DOES have alot to do with conditioning. It seems that Black men in America based of these social situations are more inclined to BE more athletically conditioned. And thus have better shots at major athletic avenues.
And to counter your point about not being Scientists ect. That has more to do with being POOR than being Black...just as many if not more poor white families try to get their kids into Hockey, Baseball, Gymnastics ect. with hopes of them reaching the limelight...Its not uncommon for white fams to send an athletically talented gymnast off to another state to train...or make little timmy play Hockey in Winnipeg for the summer to get his skills up. The access and social norms change the sports but the goals are the same.
