No its not "well" known... and that still does not mean they ate chitlins...... and who said its the worst part?

You got high end Japanese and Offal spots offering intestines as a delicacy for a grip now......

i don't see a problem with it.

i don't eat that chitlins personally, but some of the best foods come from people trying to make do with what they got.

oxtail is outrageously delicious and thats considered scraps.

Chicken feet too. And they're good for you.

Overtime stuff like that just becomes embedded in the culture and cuisine.

I ate them when I was younger (6-9) now nah. Just douse it with some hotsauce and they good.

Specially since on one thankgiving day, my stepdad was cookin them...

and forgot to clean them all the way :huhldup:, y'all can have that:scust:

i understand the scarcity of food during slavery (fukking cacs :pacspit:), but it's 2015. We're fortunate to have affordable cuts of protein from other sources

We have come so far. We can afford chicken breast now brehs and brehettes. Hell, thighs and legs. We are no longer are at severe levels of hunger.

man nikkas are so self hating and brainless it's shameful:snoop: be proud of your culture and heritage. my fam is from the islands and i have no shame or would ever look down on shyt like tripe, blood pudding, and what not that some people back home like to eat. let some french cacs start making chitlins in a fancy restaurant and serve it with a fancy sounding name and see how fast most people who look down on it would start eating it. even worst let it become popular and they make a shyt load of money off of it and see how quick the same black people that looked down on it would be crying culture appropriation.
