Do a search of my username and you will find me calling tariq out since I joined. In fact, my last comment in this thread was telling a Black man from overseas that tariq was fake way before his switching of bogeyman from white supremacist to immigrants/foreigners.
If you weren't blinded by anger, you would have noticed that.

Tariq dangled a carrot in front of your face, and all logic, reason, respect flew out of the window.
You feel anxiety about the direction this country is moving and your place in it. Tariq exploits those fears for likes, views,sales, and donations. And you've received no meaningful benefit from anything he's done or spoken about.

There have been African Americans in the REAL world who have been fighting for years to get census/college admissions/job applications to legally recognize AAs as a distinct ethnicity, and to limit access to resources earmarked FOR that group to members of that group. Person who gravitates to tariq isn't going to know that. They mistakenly think that this issue began and centers around a youtuber.

He very flawed individual that actually has some courage. So intead of attacking him because he makes it a point to point out that some black immigrants are increasingly allowing themselves to pegs in the White Supremacis wheel ATTACK the White Supremacist! And go back to your black immigrant communities and tell them to be real allies and understand black American and struggle before they cast judgement.

I’m just saying taking these pics looks a little odd compared to what he says on the show. This appears like he’s doing exactly what he’s advising us to not do. But if I view it from the context of making connections to gain a yoga clientele, then it doesn’t look that bad. If we didn’t know he was a trained and certified yoga instructor, then we would be even more confused by these pics. However, after hearing the team at this studio took his side in an incident he talked about recently, clearly, what he’s doing is working for him.

I made a personal code of NOT taking pics with white people, because I have discovered multiple former white “friends” were racist. I no longer want my image out there with them, just incase they go viral for saying something racist, and then people see their photos, and there I am like:



You can work, and be cordial with whites without taking pictures with them. I do it all the time. Most of us are the only black person on the team in certain jobs. We have to work and get along with them. And no, I’m not walking around angry all the time, nor do I ever purposely give anyone regardless of race a hard time.

I’m just saying this looks like it goes against what he teaches. But VGQ, and I’ll still support the show.

Sir to be fair to @THE HEAVEST I can understand why he went on the attack alot of black people myself included at times have that Black Messiah Complex to the point where we put black person who are really about the action on such a High Pedestal that if they do any thing we think is below the standards of a Black Messiah we wind up throwing them under the bus even if alot the work they put in help alot of black people out with their problems.

Many of you have issues with us that you need address in your communities. I had a Jamaican women supervisor curse me out year ago when I lived Miami. He had the nerve to say that we black Americans were all criminals she would never allow her daughter to marry one.

First of all when did I say "ALL"? Of course it's not all but it's too many. And since we are the majority of black people in this country many of you guys need to understand our story if you are going to live here in harmony with us.

You don't even need to reply to me again you need to go out and do the work it's not hard. Anytime somebody said something by Black American/ADOS tell them about the the greatness of ADOS/ black Americans despite our tremendous trauma. Tell them while you guys had to leave your countries to make a way for yourself you never left our country no matter how bad we were treated.
