no, PRs and DRs definitely have a ton of resemblance because we have the same mix, african/taino/spanish, even though its different amounts of each. so alot of PR and DRs look alike.
mexicans have a majority mestizo mix with little spanish. so for u to find a mestizo looking puerto rican is VERY tough since the tainos got wiped the fukk out. im not even denying that it exists, but u reaching. thats like a 1 in a thousand chance.

word. at most you will find friendly rivalry and cracking jokes like i do with my puerto rican friends, but i never heard of no real beef between latin cultures. there was a summer where there was a little beef between some mexicans around my way and some dominicans but that shyt died out fast and nothing happened past 1 on 1 fights. now everybody cool again.

PR's are kinda deep out there or were when I left ('10) ! Of course there's all the Jamaicans too but I personally only see Dominicans round the way in the stores, as you said.
But yeah man, I've grown up with plenty of Ricos right there up n down 60th over the years, though. I went to 'brook!
I also lived in Chester for a summer or two. Have you ever been out there? Hated it

Not really. Most Hispanic groups where I live seem to have a dislike for Mexicans for some odd reason. That includes Puerto Ricans.

I'm slightly a bit older, maybe things have changed now? Again, I haven't even slept in Philly since 2010 let alone lived there permanently.
But even still I can't imagine that all of a sudden there are just no more PRs in West, though?
