Do African borders need to be redrawn?

It has to be more than that. Somalia is the most homogenous country in Africa. 85% ethnic Somalis....100% Muslim...same culture...same language. Yet the one of the most conflict prone states in Africa.

Isn't Somalia split between 3 Main Tribes that have been constantly fighting for power?

If it was like Japan where only one main group/clan ( Yamato people ) who dominated all other ethnic groups in their land. It'd be a whole lot easier.

These People arent historically the "same" though. I do think that Africa as a whole needs to flip an emergency switch and focus on the bigger picture that will save everyones behind though.

Word. He's conveniently forgot the point out that his region and Puntland were first traitors and were getting arms from Ethiopian dictator Menginstu and the bombing started from that. Hence why the Ethiopians love creating a balkanized Somalia, pitting one clan against another while dictating and taking advantage of the disunity by using the Berbera port without giving full monetary value of it's worth to SL gov't and building a dam that will drain the Jubba river (drying up the river and thus depending on them for hydro-strategy). They are the master Geppetto of the East man. The Kenyans don't give a fukk but now they do with Al-Shabab. I don't mind Isaaq leading the national gov't fam, I like their idea of Upper House of Elders because it gives the people a voice. I also can see Hargeisa or Burco becoming the financial capital of the country. I don't mind that fam but I mind separation of our people, it's only due to a clan beef clearly a generation ago. I'm sad these kids in Waqoyi think that but they can be changed. We need one enemy to reunite and that's the Ethiopians.

Plus, Somalia needs all its native sons that includes Isaaq. We need their finesse, their prolonged state of peace, how they reconcile the people and all that. I'm a Daarood and saying this. Those conflicts of the 90's were when we kids, it's our generation to rebuild our country from the fukkups of our parents and grandparents. I'm dead ass.
