What's sadder than X twitching and jerking like a seizure victim in the rain, is watching y'all weirdo crybabies jump up and try and stick up for his blatant hate just because you're haters yourselves.

Let's face it, this is about old heads not being able to be a part of the meal. You're gonna get mad at the tastes of an entire generation? Maybe you're outdated. What happened to "don't like it, pay it no mind". That's something you teach an 8 yr. old and you have sad man X unable to learn.

Breh i can care less about what one rapper is making or isnt making money wise. All i care about is quality music...You cant sit here and think hip hop today is quality...If so then u are a true hater of quality music

So you like change when it only benefits you and your taste...gotcha. So rap is all about being "real" to some caricature of a stereotype and living it up to the fullest extent. Rap to me is about freedom of expression, regardless if I like it or not.

I don't like Drake's simping, but there is more to the generation than him. What about Kendrick, J Cole, and Lu? Expand your horizons.

Look, again IMO, The quality of today's hip hop has dropped. I never said it was all bad, but as I said a lot of it is. Rap is of course about freedom of expression, like Art is in general, it's subjective. And in my subjective opinion, Rap is terrible right now. Obviously not everyone is going to agree but that doesn't make me an Elitist. I didn't just start listening to rap last night. The bottom line the quality is down.

Also for those Calling X a crackhead or washed up doesn't erase his Legendary status. He has every right to call out Drake or whoever he wants, he's earned his stripes. Even though I don't agree with him 100%, I do think Drake is talented and he has made some hot songs but I do not cosign how he handled that Aaliyah ish at all. X knowing her gave him the right to speak on. Tim and Missy have been a little more politically correct about it. X talking about his voice and style, again, that's just X view on how Hardcore Hip Hop isn't being properly represented in today's game. Ye' did start the shift beating 50 but there needs to be balance and there really isn't.

Ye did a good thing for the non hardcore crowd. They were at the backburner of the rap game and were shunned upon and he, as well as Weezy, gave them a voice. They supported the likes of DMX at his prime, so why not let them get shine now? This is a classic case of "What goes around, comes around." Getting a taste of ya own medicine isn't so pleasant after all.

Drake will soon fall off, similar to Ja, IMO. If anything, the likes of the new class of the talented realm will be next. X should have been a Jay-Z or even a LL Cool J and at least learn to tolerate people different than him, especially at his age. His interviews may be funny, but they sure ain't gaining any new fans.

I agree that X needed to change his style up a little. But he's a hard core emcee. I think 50 ironically went down the same path as X. His music got a little repetitive and fans sort of went away from him. If Ross isn't careful he will suffer the same fate. I also agree that there was a time when Hard Core ish like X ruled rap. Maybe if this current style wasn't as dominating opinions wouldn't be as vocal, there seems to be no balance at all. But after the Ye Vs 50 thing it was like Street-Hop really damn near disappeared and went underground. It was crazy how fast it fell. It as like labels didn't want to push that anymore.

You see to me a real "Rap Snob/Elitist" doesn't listen to commercial Hip Hop. I listen to all forms and styles. The same way the female emcee has fallen off. Some raw hard core hip hop has fallen off too in the mainstream. As for Drake being Ja Rule. Well, Ja still put out about 6-7 albums. Drake is only on 2, he very may have a 10 year career if he can keep his fan base with him. He did 1.5 off the 1st LP, and 1.8 off this one. So he increased fan base. But now is the hardest part, that 3, 4, 5 album. Can you keep those fans coming back.

And the generation before you didn't get your generations either.

So you can continue to view the world with pointless generalizations

Or realize times change and nothing is better or worse. It's just different.

Drake>>DMX in every rap category.

If artists getting called out in hip hop offends you this much then theres Katy Perry or Rihanna.

on the bolded, you should hear the people around that time. Even the hardcore gangsta loving fans I knew wanted a change since it became pigeonhole and predictable. The reason Ross was successful in the hood crowds is because there is literally no challengers left to test him on street rap on the mainstream, since they all went underground like you said. If it was 2002, Ross would have been forgotten. Now in 2012, there is no one but him in the hood lane.

Drake still has fire in the level of fame like you said.

Trust me, as long as money is involved, there is no balance in anything. Its all about the major $$$. Which is why trends in Hip Hop come and go like the changing of the wind. Only the most versatile and most talented artists/ MCs will make it to 10+ albums, like Jay and Nas. J Cole and Kendrick has that quality in him to go for the long term.

The Sway interview he pretty much just went in on Drake. Breakfast Club and Allhiphop just asked him how he felt about the Aaliyah album and he just went off. X can't be controlled, for any other rapper this would be a PR nightmare but for X everyone is just laughin cause he's such a character. That's his personality.
