how old are you, friend? if you dont mind me asking

32, Born in 1980. I Am the Hip Hop Generation. It's been here my whole life. I still ride for X cause he brought something to the game that many rappers today can't. Heart, Skill and Classic Material. When I think of X, I think of REAL HIP HOP cause that what he embodies. Ironically his debut album dropped 3 weeks before I graduated High School.

He must have hit some rocks after The Breakfast Club interview cause he wasn't acting or looking like that at all.

Say what you want about X. Sure hes washed up and hasnt made good music in years, but at least he has the balls to speak his mind on Drake

I like Drake, but I know theres TONS of industry acts that feel the same about him but act like its all gravy

And the generation before you didn't get your generations either.

So you can continue to view the world with pointless generalizations

Or realize times change and nothing is better or worse. It's just different.

Drake>>DMX in every rap category.

:snoop: Yea cause Drake has made a RAP album better than "It's dark and hell is hot". Drake SINGS more than he Raps yet he's better than a REAL Rap artist than X? Stop. Of course things change generation to generation but even the 1980's generation respected Biggie, NaS and Jay cause they were dropping quality. The new generation is so far removed from what Hip Hop is they don't have a clue. So things do get worst. Rap Today is far worst than it was 10 years ago.

that explains it :pachaha:

The most popular rappers in the game are around my age. Young rappers are not running Hip Hop.

Jay 43
Em 39
NaS 39
Ross 35
Ye 35
T.I. 32
Jezzy 35
2Chainz 36
Wayne 29 (about to be 30 this month)
Nicki 29 (About to be 30)

Now when I was coming up, 20 year old emcees ran Hip Hop. The game has changed. Drake and Sean are probably the two youngest doing it and they are pushing 30 also since they are in mid-20's.

Drake is 25 and Big Sean is 24.

other than that, we have an elitist on our hands. Tread softly.
